April 03 Ok, Ok!! Computer Surroundings Week!OK, Kat!! Well, I'm finally back.. I've just not been myself lately.. don't know who I've been, but they're not bloggers, whoever it is! I must have spring fever!  Been overthinking everything, and find myself just sitting and staring! It's beautiful today.. 65, sunny, gorgeous. We've had everything from 70's down to 30's, sunshine to sleet and snow in the last week!! And every time a new weather front goes through, I can tell it before the weather changes!!
Well, Katsoup tells us it's the week to post where we compute! So, I didn't clean mine up as much as some people did.. obviously..lol
 but, it has everything I need close at hand!!lol

I have some silly stuff at the bottom to amuse yourselves with. Just hangin' out today, recovering from yesterday! Mom and I went to town, determined to get some things accomplished... and we did! LOL Don't you just hate it when you forget what you were going to say? This morning I had a whole wonderful blog written in my head.. then a couple of phone calls, mopped the kitchen floor, had lunch.. and *poof* get here and nothing in the old brain but cobwebs!! Jaleen's blog.. she's a lovely young Christian South African woman living in Saudi Arabia with her husband and their two adorable young sons! LOTS of challenges in that statement! She's beautiful, and those kids are gorgeous! She has some powerful posts. Then there's Shirley. She's a homemaker from Ohio! She has some very funny stuff, and a couple of days back, one of the funniest things I've seen lately! "The Middle Wife".. Too cute! Especially with all of us thinking about birth with Aimee having Chuck a couple of days ago!!!! Jaxton Gauge Archer born 7/22/08 @ 7:27pm was 7lbs 4.5oz and 19 3/4" long...YEA!! Congratulations, Aimee and Kenny! Can't wait to see the pictures. Well, I hope you all are behaving... but get back here and blog! You need to entertain me better! OH!! July 13 So much stuff..I just realized, the other day, that I missed my 2 year Blogaversary a couple of weeks ago!!! I can't believe I forgot it, but it was right around the time I got fried by lightening! So.. happy Blogaversary to me!! So.. I got tagged by Willow! Go visit her and bother her... she always has FABULOUS music going! I know you all are dying to know even more about me! Like I don't tell everything I know, anyway!! We got 4 inches of rain last night! And one of my walkways is clogged with leaves... so what did it do with all that rain?? Flooded my bathroom!!!LOL Not too seriously, but it's all wet. I thought I had a plumbing problem when I got up.. then found out it was rain! Glad it stopped, or I might have awakened on a floating bed! Wouldn't that be cool?
Anyway.. I needed to laugh today... I'm so tired of being sad and down, and I went to my friend Pen's page, and there it was.. the answer to my prayers.. so I stole it. I told her I was going to! There were two parts to it, but I only stole one. I'll steal the other tomorrow!lol I love these things. I like all of them, but the last four really made me hysterical!

WOW!! Got them fooled, huh? August 11 MOONFLOWERS!!Well, I finally got you all some pictures of our moonflowers! Tonight there were 5 blooms!! We've never had that many before. Mom planted it several years ago. Every year it comes back on it's own, a little larger than the year before, with a few more blooms. Each year we cut it all the way to the ground. It dies back anyway, if you don't. The flowers all come out in those long green pod-things. A few open each night, about 9 or 10 o'clock, and wilt in the morning about 8 am. Then that one is dead and never comes back! Ours is outside my dad's workshop. It does get quite a bit of sun there. I just found out the other night that they smell wonderful! Kind of like a very light jasmine/lavender type smell. This year we are going to try to harvest seeds. These green pods make seeds after the flowers die. So, if we get some, I'll send them to you if you want. I'm going to plant a couple at my house, too! I'll let you know. There are several pictures in the pic album. Maybe too much "close at hand"? LOL Unfortunately, I also have cats that knock everything around whenever I move away from the desk! It was my grandmother's desk, so it's a little small, but I love it.
